Xsite Pro 2 Vs. NVU / Kompozer
Should you should invest in Xsite Pro 2 for your business or invest your time learning NVU or Kompozer. Both Xsite Pro 2 and NVU or Kompozer have benefits and drawbacks. We'll start with NVU and Kompozer and then move onto Xsite Pro 2. NVU and Kompozer are free WYSIWYG web editors that allow you to create simple web pages by designing them with a "What You See Is What You Get" editor. Their main benefit is that they're free. I've mainly found them helpful for making quick changes to sales letter templates and other simple edits, however I've found them to be a bit buggy on occasion. Xsite Pro 2 on the other hand is a full fledged web editor, and could almost be considered a content management system. It's primary purpose is to manage a lot of small sites across a variety of projects. It's generally used for sales letter templates, and 15-20 page mini-sites focused on a small area, however some people have created up to 200-300 page sites with no problems.
Xsite Pro's real benefit is the ability to make site wide changes with the click of a button. You can change the template (the way the site looks) in a matter of seconds by simply choosing a new one. The other benefit is the ability to add global scripts such as Google's Analytic tracking script by putting it one place, in NVU or Kompozer you'd have to add it manually to each page. Xsite Pro is also optimized for Search Engine's to find and index their pages. There's really a whole host of benefits to Xsite Pro over NVU or Kompozer, you really do get what you pay for.
