Disadvantages of XsitePro 2While XsitePro 2 is a great system it does have a few disadvantages that you should be aware of before you purchase. The first disadvantage that I could think of is that It's Windows only: while many people run Windows exclusively I prefer a Mac. The fact that it's not programmed on the Adobe Air platform or designed for a Mac environment really got me at first. I purchased it on the recommendation of an Internet Marketing friend, and then had to install Windows with VMWare Fusion to get it working. The next thing that bothers me with XsitePro 2 is that there are no comments. I know it was built to make static sites and you can add a blog to it if you'd like, but sometimes a bit of conversation on a page would be nice.
The final thing that bothers me is the User Interface. I think this bothers me more having to go from a Mac to a Windows environment every time I boot it up. If it were programmed for a Mac as well it probably would look very slick. I think though for being a Windows program it does look pretty good and this probably won't bother most users. All in all these are just a few preferences of a picky guy, when you come right down to it Xsite Pro 2 is a wonderful web design program and does everything that its promised.
